The Company was founded in London in 1924, initially as
a supplier of components and packaging to the British shoe
industry. It moved to Norwich in the 1950’s and developed,
over the course of the next 30 years, to become a distributor
of Packaging Materials and Machinery to a wide range of industries.
Current sales value £14 million per annum from Customer Service
and Distribution Centres at Norwich (also the head office), Wellingborough
and Birmingham.
Fillmore supply a large number of food production customers and so it
was particularly important to gain the British Retail Consortium qualification
for food packaging hygiene, making Fillmore the first distributor in
the UK to achieve this.
ADC have designed and built a content managed website that
allows internal staff to update the details of products and
news.
Based upon the Stocksphere CMS,
Fillmore Packaging are able to analyse visitor
statistics down to individual page level
giving invaluable insight into browsing
activity.
