Sewage Treatment
Sewage Treatment
Marsh was established to supply a new range of superior quality, next generation products into the environmental sector, with a responsive approach to customer service at realistic prices.

There are three main product ranges:
Uni: Sewage Treatment
Geoceptor Oil/Petrol Separators
Green Genie Washdown/Water Recycling System

Uni: Sewage Treatment
The Uni: standard range of package sewage treatment plants is available for population equivalents of 6, 10, 12, 15, 20 and 25 persons, with various combinations of invert levels and gravity or pumped outlets.

These units are more robust than the majority available and are produced in accordance with BS 6297:1983 Code of Practice and have been type-tested, hold third party accreditation and meet the final effluent quality detailed in BS 7781:1994.

Also, they have been tested for pH levels, a test that will be included in BS EN 12566-3 but which is not yet common practice. A low profile version of the Uni:6 is also available for use in areas with a particularly high water table.

Larger units up to 300 person population equivalent are available, with the unique Marsh Smart Sizing Option, to ensure that the customer is not paying for surplus capacity.

Geoceptor Oil/Petrol Interceptors
A range of innovative Class1 bypass separators, smart sized to suit outlets: 160, 225, 300 and 375 in sizes: NSB3.5, 4.5, 6, 8, 10, 12.5, 15, 20, 25 and 30. These units offer concrete surround savings of up to E100 when installed with shuttering compared to a leading competitor's product.

There are also significant health and safety benefits – manufactured in Polyethylene, these units are up to 40% lighter than comparable GRP product, giving vastly improved handling capabilities on site.

Also clean to handle – lessens risk of skin irritation. The Geoceptor has an integral silt chamber and hydrocarbon alarm holster as standard with a unique coalescing filter positioning to ease access and removal during replacement/cleaning and to sustain long term separation of silts and hydrocarbons.

The very robust construction substantially reduces the risk of damage on site. The performance of the Geoceptor is less than Smg/i. This is the standard required Section 8.3.3 of BS-EN858-1, which is supported by the Environment Agency's PPG3.

Green Genie Washdown/Water Recycling System
The Green Genie is designed for large grassed areas such as golf courses, sports grounds, leisure and horticultural facilities - in fact any landscaped area where washdown facilities are an issue, due to the legal requirement to treat the resulting effluent for discharge into mains drainage or soakaways. This effluent can contain hydrocarbons, grease, fertilisers and pesticides.

The performance of the Green Genie meets the Ground Water Regulations of 1988 and the specification for hydrocarbon separation detailed in BS-EN858-1 meaning that the effluent can be recycled for further washing or watering. Service contracts can be arranged.
